This article covers proposing pay changes through the compensation worksheet. Within the compensation cycle, the cycle manager can review current compensation, performance reviews, and add notes before sending pay change proposals for approval.
Proposing Pay Changes

Go to Team > Compensation > Worksheet
- Select the compensation cycle to edit
- The overall budget for increases will be displayed at the top of the worksheet, and the list of employees assigned to the compensation cycle will be displayed at the bottom
- Information about the employee’s current pay, pay grade, and performance review score can be used to determine the increase amounts

Enter the proposed increase for each employee and select 'Save'
- Notes can be entered by selecting the Notes icon next to the employee’s name.
- Proposed pay changes can be submitted for approval individually, or all at once. Select the checkboxes for the pay changes you want to submit, and select 'Send to Approve'

A: Review the compensation criteria in the compensation cycle setup to determine which employees are included.
Q: The company budget has changed, but the compensation cycle has already begun. Can the budget be edited?
A: Yes, the budget can be edited throughout the process.
Q: There's a loop dependency error. How is that fixed?
A: This error occurs when two managers report to each other. Review the Org Chart to find the loop, and reassign managers as needed.
