The HCMToGo app allows employees to log in, navigate menus, and access features like benefits enrollment, pay statements, accrual balances, and time and labor management.
Pay Statements and Pay History
Getting Started
Download HCMToGo from your phone's app store.
Select North America, and then your Company Shortname, then select the Continue button. If you are unsure of your Shortname, this is provided by your Company Administrator.
From the login screen, enter your Username and Password, then select the Login button.
If you have forgotten your password, utilize the blue Forgot Your Password text and follow the prompts.
You will be prompted to setup Two Factor Authentication if it is not already set up. Follow the prompts for you preferred authentication method.
Please note: Features vary based upon company configuration. Not all items below may be available, and your view may differ.
Navigation
To navigate through the menu options, select the hamburger menu icon in the top left.
- This will display additional menu options available for My Benefits, My Time, My Pay, My Schedule’, etc. Tap the icon to view further options.
- The arrow icon
will allow you to expand the menu options under each section
- The home icon
will return you to the home page
- The X icon
in the top right will close the menu
- The search icon
can be used to find specific sections of the menu by name (i.e.: Current Timesheets, Balances, etc)
- The caret dropdown next to your initials
will allow you to sign out of the mobile app or change the Company & Region
Home Screen
After logging in, you will be taken to your Dashboard. Here you can utilize the same links and widgets as the web portal:
- Select to ‘Clock In/Out’ or ‘Transfer' (may also be called 'Cost Center Change') to record a punch (if applicable).
- If 'Transfer' or 'Cost Center Change' is selected, you will be prompted to select from a dropdown list of available Departments (or Cost Centers) to clock into. Tap the Department (or Cost Center) you’d like to clock into, then click 'OK' to record the punch.
- If Geofencing is enabled, you will received an error message if you clock in/out outside of the restricted zone.
- Review company wide Announcements, select the blue Show More to view the entire Announcement.
The bell icon in the top right will display a number of current Notifications or To Do Items that need to be reviewed
. Tap on the icon to review My To Do Items, or My Checklist items.
- My To Do Items is the first tab, this will list actions that need to be completed by you. Tap on the arrow to review and complete the To Do Item.
- My Notifications is the second tab, which will show notifications such as password changes, timesheet changes, and time off approvals.
- My Checklists is the third tab, which will display checklists that are assigned to you where action is required. Tap the arrow to proceed to the checklist.
My Information
You can review your Employee Information, like Employee ID #, Address, Email, Phone Number, etc by tapping your initials in the top right of the screen. If your company has uploaded your photo, it will be your photo displayed in the top right instead of your initials.
- The first tab to display is ‘My Profile’, which houses your basic employee information
- Review Account Information such as:
- Contacts
- Personal Information
- Managers
- Account Contacts
- Base Compensation
- Review Account Information such as:
- The second tab is ‘Change Password’ to update your current password
- The last tab is 'Change Security Questions’ to update your questions when selecting "Forgot Password."
Benefits
- Enroll or review Benefits in the My Benefits Widget.
- Enrollment options may differ based on your company setup and when Open Enrollment is active for your organization.
To review current Benefits, click the My Benefits option in the menu, or navigate from your home screen by clicking My Benefits.

- Enrollment allows you to perform any Life Change Events, Open Enrollment, or New Hire Enrollment. Tap on ‘Start’ or 'Continue' to begin or continue the process; along the way, a progress bar will keep track of your remaining steps. Then, once completed, you will receive a message notifying you that enrollment was submitted. There will also be a confirmation on the Enrollment tab.
- ‘Benefit Plans’ will display your current enrollments and deduction amounts for each plan you are enrolled in. Select a specific plan from the dropdown to review, or if ‘All Benefit Groups’ is selected, scroll down to review all plans.
Pay Statements and Pay History
- Review Pay History, download PDFs of historical Pay Statements, and review Direct Deposit information in the My Pay widget.
- Select the View Pay Stubs button to view historical check stubs.
- Select Predict My Pay (if available) to simulate check amounts.
- Click the Direct Deposits tab to review current direct deposits on file.
Click Show more to open other potential options such as Review Year End Tax Forms, View Tax Settings, etc.
Accruals
- Review current accrual balances in My Accrual Balances.
- Submit Time Off Requests in the My Accrual Balances widget, or My Time > Time Off > Request.
Time and Labor
- In the ‘My Time’ section (if applicable, T&A Module), you can select to review:
- ‘Timesheet’ tab, this is the same link from your Dashboard for 'My Current Timesheet.'
- You will have access to select the Current or Historical timesheets within the menu selections.
- ‘Timesheet’ tab, this is the same link from your Dashboard for 'My Current Timesheet.'
- The left and right arrows next to the pay period dates will allow you to either go back to a previous pay period’s timesheet or forward to future timesheets.
- The arrow icon next to each date will allow you to expand the day's entries to review the From/To punches recorded or the Time Off hours recorded.
- The paperclip icon
in the 'three dots' menu will display the attachments on the timesheet and allow you to upload photos/documents to the timesheet.
- The clock icon
on the bottom will allow you to record a punch.
- The ellipse icon
along the bottom will allow you to:

Change Request will allow you to submit a Timesheet Change Request to correct any missing punches

- Select the Change Type (Modify In Punch, Modify Out Punch, Add Time Entry, etc)
- Click on the day in the period you’d like to submit the request for (this will display the From/To time entries recorded
- Click the arrow
to select the time entry
- Enter the corrected From/To time
- Click Submit Changes to submit the request to your manager/admin

Timesheet Information
will provide additional information regarding the timesheet (i.e. current state, # of incomplete entries, etc).

Supporting Documents
will display the attachments on the timesheet and allow you to upload photos/documents to the timesheet.

(If Applicable) Submit will allow you to manually submit your timesheet at the end of each pay period

- Verbiage will appear, and a Comment can be entered or left blank
- Click Submit to submit the timesheet for approval to your manager/admin

- Time Off Counts will display your current accrual balances
- Schedule will display your schedule for the current period
- Print will print your timesheet.
- Punch Map will show punch locations if geofencing is enabled.
- Request Time Off will take you to the Time Off Request menu.

Change Request will allow you to submit a Timesheet Change Request to correct any missing punches
You can also review other tabs of your timesheet, like the Summary by Day or Calc Detail by selecting the Time Entry dropdown option in the top left to select another tab to view.
Troubleshooting
Issue: An employee's first time logging into the app, and you get an error message stating 'The Company cannot be found.'
- Solution: First, make sure they are using the correct Mobile App. UKG offers several apps for its multiple platforms (HCMtogo, UKG Ready, UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, etc.). Second, this could also be if they previously worked for another employer who used the same Mobile App. Ask the employee to delete the app entirely and re-download and install it. This often resolves the issue.
Issue: An employee receives an error when attempting to punch in/out using the Mobile App, stating "Your current punch location is not within the geographical limits configured by your administrator".
- Solution: The employee must enable Location Services for the Mobile App on their mobile device. The Mobile punch needs to know its location; if they do not 'Allow' location services for the mobile app, it can't record their punch.
