To Create a Schedule
- Navigate to Settings > Profiles/Policies > Schedules > Daily Rules
- Click the New Daily Work Schedule button.
- Name schedule (shift)
- Choose the Schedule Type and enter hours/times.
- Free Flow: Allows you to enter a bulk amount of hours for a day. Example: 8 hours.
- Fixed: Allows you to enter a start and stop time for the schedule. Example: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Floating: Allows you to enter a range of start times and total hours. Example: The employee can arrive between 8 a.m. - 10 a.m., but they must work a total of 8 hours.
- Flextime: Allows for a flexible start and/or end time. Example: The employee can start between 7 a.m. - 10 a.m., and leave between 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., but must work between the hours of 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Enter any additional SETTINGS as applicable (e.g., Cost Centers).
- Click Save.
To Create a Schedule Profile
Now that you have the daily rules (shifts) created, you can take those daily rules and plug them into a Work Schedule Profile.
- Menu: Settings > Profiles/Policies > Schedules > Work Schedules
- Click the NEW WORK SCHEDULE PROFILE button
- Add a Name (be descriptive) and set your 'Days In Cycle' to 7, 14, 28, etc., plus the Initial Cycle Start Date.
- Select the Daily Rule (Shift) for each day in the Type column.
- Click SAVE
To Assign Schedule
- Navigate to Settings > Team > Schedule > Basic Scheduling > Schedules
- Choose View:
- Day View
- Week View (Default)
- Month View
- Click in a blank box for a day to apply a new scheduled/shift or time off. Click into a scheduled day to change the previously assigned shift.
Note: You can change employee shifts by dragging and dropping shifts on the schedule. |
- Choose Shift Type from the dropdown
- Click Save
To Print Schedule
Click on the action ellipses at the top right and choose Print
