The Indeed Job Board integration is built into UKG Ready Recruitment Module at no extra cost. Users can enable it in settings to automatically post eligible job requisitions to Indeed. Jobs can be posted, reposted, or unposted individually or in bulk. Applicants may use Indeed's Easily Apply feature if opted in. Users can view job statuses and posted dates and directly access job listings on Indeed from the UKG interface.
View Job Requisition on Indeed
Enabling the Indeed Job Board
To start posting job requisitions to Indeed from UKG Ready users will need to make the Indeed job board Active. To make the Indeed Job Board active, follow the steps below:
- Go to the menu > Settings > HR Setup > Applicant Tracking/Recruitment > Configuration.
- Click on "Edit Tabs".
- In the Available Windows, locate the Job Board Configuration Widget and drag and drop that onto one of the configuration tabs. Click "Save".
- Click back to the Configuration screen and click on the tab of the page the widget was added to, then select "Active" in the Indeed settings.
- Enter the Company Email address.
- Check the 'Opt In' checkbox to activate Indeed Easy Apply.

Click Save.
- Once save is clicked, all the existing job requisitions that fulfill the Indeed criteria will automatically be posted to Indeed's job board. A success/error message will appear, see image below:
Note: The hyperlink shown in the message will navigate the user to a report page of Inactive jobs when selected.

Q: Do I need to add a product from Marketplace?
A: The Indeed Job Board integration within UKG Ready is already within the application; there is no need to add a third-party vendor within Marketplace.
Q: Do I need to have an account with Indeed?
A: No, the Indeed Job Board is available for all UKG Ready clients that use our Recruitment Module.
Q: What is the cost to use the Integrated Job Posting with Indeed?
A: The Indeed Job Board is included with our UKG Ready Recruitment Module; there is no additional cost to post using this job board.
Q: Will all of my Job Requisitions be sent to Indeed's Feed?
A: Yes, all job requisitions that meet Indeed's criteria will be posted to the Indeed job board. When posting job requisitions to Indeed, if the criteria is not met an error message will tell the user what needs to be updated.
Q: Will an Applicant be able to use the Easily Apply button on Indeed's Site?
A: The Easily Apply function will be enabled for job requisitions when you Opt In within the Job Board Configuration settings. With the Easily Apply, applicants are able to apply for a job on Indeed's website without leaving the Indeed page. If you do not Opt In, when an applicant is on the Indeed site and they click Apply Now, they will be redirected to UKG Ready to complete the application process.
Q: Will Applicants still be prompted to complete the Applicant Questionnaire on Indeed's site?
A: Yes, whether the applicant is using the Easily Apply function or being redirected to UKG Ready, they will still go through these items.
Posting Job Requisitions
Q: How can I post existing job requisitions?
A: Your existing job requisitions will automatically be posted when you enable the Indeed Job Board. For these steps, see How do I enable the Indeed Job Board?. You can also post job requisitions in bulk from the job requisition report page, see Can I post job requisitions in bulk?
Q: How do I post a New Job Requisition from the Job Requisition Page?

Automatic Posting - Newly created job requisitions can be automatically posted to the Indeed Job Board by following these steps:
- Navigate to Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Click on the Add New button, select Internal & External or External or Internal job type. (Future date should be entered in the Date to Post Externally column when the Internal job type is selected.)
- Enter all the fields required to post a job requisition to Indeed, like Job Title, Description, Name and Email (Contact Information), Visibility Dates and click Save.
- Once the Save button is clicked, the job requisition will be automatically posted to the Indeed job board, and the success message will be shown.

Manual Posting - Once the job requisition is saved, the job requisition can be edited and re-posted to Indeed.
- Navigate to Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Click on the edit pencil icon associated with the job requisition that needs to be updated.

Reposting a job requisition to Indeed can be done from the Save button or the Job Board hyperlink.

From Save Button:
- Update the job requisition and click Save.
- Once Save is clicked, the job requisition will be reposted to Indeed and the success message will be shown.

- Update the job requisition and click on the Job Board hyperlink shown in the left menu panel.
- Click on the Post on Job Boards button, select the checkbox for Indeed and click Post.
- In the Post Job Acknowledgement box, enter the user's password and click Yes.

Q: Can I post job requisitions in Bulk?
A: The job requisitions can be bulk posted to the Indeed job board from the job requisition report page:
- Navigate to Recruitment> Job Requisitions.
- Select one or more job requisitions using the checkboxes.
- Click on the Job Board button shown at the top-right of the page.
- Post on Job Boards pop-up will be shown, select Indeed from the drop-down down and click on Post.
- Enter the user's password and click Yes.
Unposting Job Requisitions
Q: Can I unpost all job requisitions?
A: The job requisitions from the "Client", "Partner" and "Holding" company can be unposted from Indeed by following these steps:
- Navigate to Settings > HR Setup > Applicant Tracking/Recruitment > Configuration.
- Go to the Job Board Configuration widget on the Job Boards tab.
- Uncheck the Active box for Indeed and click Save.
Q: How can I unpost a single job requisition?
A: A job can be unposted from the job requisition page:
- Navigate to Team > Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Click on the View Job Requisitions icon for the job requisition that is already posted to Indeed.
- Click on the Job Board hyperlink shown in the left menu panel.
- Click on the Unpost from Job Boards button, select the checkbox for Indeed and click Unpost.
- Enter the user's password and click Yes.

Status of Job Requisition
Q: Can I see the status of a job requisition?
A: The status of the job requisition can be seen from the job requisition page:
- Navigate to Team > Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Click on the View Job Requisitions icon for the job requisition that is already posted to Indeed.
- Click on the Job Board hyperlink shown in the left menu panel.
- Click on the View Status on Job Boards button.
- A pop-up will be displayed with the status of the job requisition.
Q: Can I view the date and time all job requisitions were posted on Indeed?
A: The date and times of Indeed job posting for all job requisitions can be seen on the job requisition report:
- Navigate to Team> Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Click on the ellipses (Action) icon, click on Add/Remove Columns.
- Search Posted Date on Indeed, select the checkbox from the Available Columns and click on Add.
- Move the column to any place in the report and click Apply.
View Job Requisition on Indeed
Q: Can I view the job requisition on Indeed?
A: With a single click on the job requisition, users will be navigated to the posted job requisition on the Indeed Job Board.
- Navigate to Team > Recruitment > Job Requisitions.
- Locate the Posted Date on the Indeed Column (see above FAQ).
- Click on the Date Time hyperlink shown against any job requisition.
- The user will be navigated to the posted job on the Indeed Job Board.
