This article provides instructions for creating Company Events, a core feature within the HR module. This is equivalent to a Company Announcement. Event Configuration

Events can be used to communicate upcoming company activities. 

  • Go to Settings > Our Company > Events (Configuration)
  • Click 'Add New'

  •  
    • a. Event Date:  Select the date the event will occur. The 'Starts At' and 'Ends At' times are optional.
    • b. Headline:  Enter the name of the event
    • c. Body:  Enter an optional description for the field. This will be visible to the employees who have visibility to the event.
    • d. Visible To:  Select the group or profile this event should be visible to. If left blank, it will be visible to all employees and applicants.
    • e. Related Documents:  Attach any documents you would like to be downloaded by the employees.

      Please note: The Document must be added as a Company Document before it can be added to an Event. To add a Company Document, go to Settings > Our Company > Document Upload.

  • Press 'Save'  

  • The event can be viewed by the selected employees by going to My Info > My Company > Events.
  • Also, a widget can be added to Dashboards that displays current & upcoming events.
